MCA's Gattuso Commits to Play Football For Austin College

Jake Gattuso, a McKinney Christian Academy senior, has made a verbal commitment to play football for Austin College in Sherman. His academic achievements have allowed him receive $68,000.00 in scholarships. A ceremony to announce this commitment will take place Wednesday morning, March 30, at the school.

Gattuso has made a huge impact as captain of the Varsity Football, Wrestling, and Track teams at McKinney Christian. He was also an integral part of McKinney Christian Academy’s Football program moving from 6 Man Football to 11 Man. Jake was awarded 1st Team All District Running Back and an Honorable Mention All State in the Fall of 2010.

To name a few of his achievements, he has also been a member of the National Honor Society from 2008-2011, received 3rd place at the TAPPS State Wrestling
Championship in 2011, and has been active in McKinney Summer Musicals for the past 4 years.
