According to a report from NBC 5, a Texas state trooper survived a serious head-on collision on U.S. 380 near state Highway 5 in McKinney on Friday night at 8.
The collision involved a pickup truck which apparently pulled out of a private driveway in front of the trooper who was traveling eastbound on 380.
The report said the trooper was "talking and alert" at a local hospital and that the driver of the truck is in stable condidition.
