What are QR codes and why should you care? Great Question! You are beginning to see them around more and more often, but what are they really? QR codes, or Quick Response codes, are bar codes that carry information like website addresses, contact information and other forms of text. They speed up information transfer from one person to another. They are an oft talked about and highly misunderstood tool used in real estate and other industries for getting you to a web domain quickly. That’s great for one-time events like concerts where a site has a (cumbersome) domain name, limited lifetime and such, but how does that help someone in the McKinney Real Estate Market? The real question is, are QR codes truly useful, or nothing more than a bit of “techno fluff” for website decoration.
