The Young At Heart Artists of Towne Creek Senior Apartments are hosting their annual Fine Art and Craft Show on Friday, Nov. 9, from 12-6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 10, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. It will be held at Towne Creek Apartments. 506 S. Graves, McKinney (near McKinney H.S.)
The group of talented seniors have been meeting every Friday afternoon for over five years. Volunteers Karen Donaldson, Della Mark and Toni Andrukaitis have become part of this loving family of friends. Artists range in age from 60's to 90's, with an occasional 8-year-old visitor.
Last year, the group was honored with a surprise visit from Mayor Loughmiller and wife, Donna. Laura Moore of Laura Moore Fine Art Studios on the Square and the Art Club of McKinney are generous contributors to the group.
