McKinney Police are looking for a suspect who tried to rob the Chase Bank on Custer Road.
Police responded to an attempted robbery at the Chase Bank located at 5101 S. Custer Rd., at about 1:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5. Employees at the bank report the suspect approached a teller and passed a threatening note demanding money. The teller was not cooperative with the suspect’s request, and the suspect ran from the bank.
The suspect is reported to be a black male, using a walking cane, concealing his face with a surgical mask and wearing latex gloves. The suspect is described as being approximately 6 feet 1 with a very slim build believed to be in his mid-thirties. He was wearing a dark colored shirt or jacket, dark colored jeans, tennis shoes, and a blue Texas Rangers baseball cap.
The McKinney Police is asking for the public’s help in identifying this suspect and would like to hear from anyone who may recognize the suspect in these photos or who has any information concerning this offense.
