ReStore Plans Monster Mash to Celebrate Third Birthday

The ReStore celebrates its third birthday Saturday, October 20, and plans a frightfully fun good time.

Events begin at 11 am with live entertainment from singer and emcee Marty Ruiz.  Kids 6 and up can try their hand at video games in the mobile GameTruck. Free hot dogs will be served from 11 to 1 pm.  Live raptor birds will be flying high from A All Animal Control, while Darlene Floyd of Faces by Darlene will by painting her fantastic designs on faces.

Children can participate in several games and receive prizes and candy, with 3 pinata breaks during the party.  Children can also take home balloon creations from the balloon twister.   Women are invited to experience a mini spa treatment from Desiree DeVolk.

A Halloween Costume Contest will begin at 1 pm with children competing in two age groups, 0 to 6 and 7 to 12.  Tickets will be available for the drawing for two playhouses constructed by North Collin County Habitat for Humanity volunteers and painted by Jeni Tomlinson Studios, McKinney, and Melissa Thornton of Thornton Creative Services, Allen.  Winners do not need to be present.

The ReStore is located at 2060 Couch Dr., McKinney and is operated by NCC Habitat to support affiliate operations and build new homes for eligible families in North Collin County.  For more information, please call 972-548-9112.
