Need a good laugh? Then look no further than the McKinney Performing Arts Center this Saturday night, September 22, 2012. That's when four of the zaniest women we know, Four Funny Females, bring their special brand of funny back to MPAC for an impressive sixth season.
McKinney's own Laura Bartlett is one of the funny ladies, as well as the group's founder and producer. Since 2006, she along with Jodi Hadsell, Sherry Belle, and headliner Linda Stogner have been about the business of splitting sides to sold-out show after sold-out show with their clean 90-minute comedy review.
Each lady brings their own unique personality to the stage. From techno-savvy hipster Hadsell, to southern belle, Belle, to Bartlett's unique take on the world as she sees it, to Stogner's hysterical Lucy-esque-apades, the audience is assured every possible opportunity available to giggle the night away.
Four Funny Females' headliner, Stogner is an Emmy and Gracie award-winning filmmaker, and has
appeared on the Joan Rivers Comedy Special. She is the 2011 finalist for Improv Funniest Comic in Texas, as well as a finalist in the Las Vegas Comedy Festival, and The Funniest Woman in America Contest.
Be sure to look for Bartlett in the September 2012 issue of Better Homes and Gardens. You can also catch her in past episodes of CW33's Break Room co-starring with comedian/actor Jason James.
