The McKinney North tennis team improved to 2-1 in District 13-4A play by defeating Wylie 19-0 Tuesday. The Bulldogs had one of their most dominating doubles performances of the year dropping just a few games in doubles play.
The Bulldogs swept both sides of the ladder 9-0, and posted their first 19-0 win of the year. The “Water Cup” trophy was collected by Caleb Orr and Lauren Palomo. The win improves the Bulldogs to 11-3 on the year.
Winning matches for the Bulldogs were as follows: Big Mason Cagley, Colby Seamster, Darien Florez, Santy Gonzalez, Jordan “Birdman” Brewer, Caleb Orr, Andrew Tucker, Nick Parker, Tyler Taba, Bec Rose, Elise Schraer, Hannah Story, Anna Molera, Kayann Orr, Lauren Palomo, and Ari Romeo.
The Bulldogs are next in action Friday, Sept. 21, hosting McKinney Boyd.
