Public Hearing is set for Sept. 18 concerning City's Proposed Budget

The City of McKinney's proposed $220.3 million budget for 2012-13 will be subject to a public hearing Sept. 18, according to the city council.

The tax rate is proposed to remain at about 59 cents per $100 assessed value, according to The Dallas Morning News. The DMN story also said the city has identified $3.47 million in savings and approved purchases for city services.
