All three MISD volleyball teams were in action on Tuesday night.
McKinney Boyd
The Lady Broncos defeated Bishop Lynch 3-0 at the Broncos' home gym. The Lady Broncos won 25-22, 25-19, 25-20.
McKinney High
The Lionettes lost to Frisco Wakeland 3-1 on the road Tuesday. They will get a chance to bounce back quickly, however, by starting play Thursday in the Frisco ISD Tournament.
McKinney North
The Lady Bulldogs beat Carrollton Newman Smith 3-1 at home Tuesday. It was TSB's Volleyball Game of the Week, and if you haven't seen sports writer Audra Paine's coverage yet, please click here. Also at North on Tuesday, the Lady Bulldogs' JV team lost to Newman Smith in three sets, winning the first set 25-19 before falling 24-26, 15-25. The North 9th grade team was able to beat the Trojans 2-0 (25-20, 25-22).
