McKinney Boyd has produced many collegiate women's soccer players since it opened its doors in 2006, and two of them are being recognized by the Southeastern Conference this week.
Kelley Monogue and Meghan Streight, who play for Texas A&M, were named to the SEC's Preseason Watch List, announed by the conference office in Birmingham, Ala., on Wednesday. Four Aggies in all were on the list of potential SEC players of the year.
Monogue, a forward, was the 2011 Big 12 Rookie of the Year
and Offensive Player of the Year. She was also a Freshman All-American.
Streight, a defender, was 2011 All-Big 12 second team and Big 12 All-Newcomer Team
member and was named to the NCAA All-Central Region third team.
