A couple of decades ago, Becky Watts was inspired by her culinary experience while living in Europe and decided to turn a newly found passion into a money-making opportunity. Thus began her McKinney catering business.
About a year ago Becky Watts decided it was time to hang up the oven mitts and focus on her grandchildren and new lake house under construction. Thus began her retirement.
Earlier this year Becky Watts and her daughter Alison Smithwick stumbled upon a little retail space just the other side of McDonald in historic
downtown McKinney and decided what a perfect spot for a small business. Thus began the concept and reality of Table & Chair.
So long, retirement!
Table & Chair specializes in vintage tabletop décor and custom farmhouse tables and everything is inspired by Becky’s journey. If you would like to know more about that journey, just click on the video below.
