Downtown McKinney was a hub of activity on Saturday morning as hundreds of athletes of all levels participated in the annual Melon Dash.
Also in downtown McKinney, the Farmers' Market at historic Chestnut Square was in full swing. Shoppers browsed through farm fresh melons, corn, tomatoes and okra as well as bread, pies and more.
The market runs from 8 a.m. to noon each Saturday through October at Chestnut Square, 315 S. Chestnut Street in McKinney.
