Missed opportunities were the theme of the night for McKinney's local team, the Frozen Ropes, as the Titans were defeated 3-0 by the Dallas Tigers Hernandez on Thursday night. The last game of the second day at the Mickey Mantle World Series pitted two teams in non-elimination situations. This means that despite the loss, Frozen Ropes will look to keep its championship hopes alive on Friday night in an elimination game versus the Dallas Tigers Vanlandingham. The Tigers lost to the San Diego Gamers 9-1 on Thursday.
