First Response Photography captured the scene early Thursday morning after a car ran into a tree on northbound Lake Forest.

The wreck happened after midnight, and the entire driver's side of the car was caved in after hitting the tree.

First responders had to cut into the car to get to the injured driver, who was conscious when flown to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas by PH1.
