McKinney Boyd running back Bryan Driskell prepared for his upcoming senior football season by attending TCU's camp on Friday. And according to an ESPN.com report, Driskell impresssed the coaches there by his physique. He has added about 10 pounds to get to around 180 on his 5-foot-8 frame, the story said.
The report also mentioned that Driskell has a scholarship offer from Navy and is receiving interest from Texas Tech, Baylor, Iowa State, Northwestern, Memphis and "several other schools."
Driskell will participate in a Baylor camp on Friday, a Houston camp on Tuesday and a Texas State camp on Wednesday.
UIL Football practice begins next month across the state in preparation for the 2012 season. Boyd joins 10-5A with Allen, McKinney High and the Plano schools this season after an 8-3 record and playoff appearance last year.
