McKinney Fire Department Extinguishes Blaze at Hutchins BBQ

By TSB Staff

A fire early Monday morning at Hutchins BBQ on Tennessee Street in McKinney was handled by the McKinney Fire Department, which saved the majority of the building.

The restaurant will be closed for approximately two weeks, according to the business' Facebook page.

"It has and will be shut down for a couple of weeks," stated its Facebook page. "Thanks for being our loyal customers.'

The fire was put out in approximately 15 minutes, but crews were there extinguishing hot spots and doing overhaul for approximately 1.5 hours.

It was a one-alarm response, which included three engines, one truck, an ambulance and Battalion Chief.
