McKinney ISD Partners In Education recently honored 2012-2013 top businesses for their commitment and dedication. A plaque will be placed at MISD Central office to acknowledge the top businesses. These businesses went above and beyond in their involvement with McKinney Independent School District.
“Community involvement is vital for school success,” said Nancy Cowlishaw Partners in Education Coordinator. “Parent and students like seeing their community get involved.”

3E –This organization partners with churches and MISD, and encouraging churches to get involved in the MISD schools, from joining the REACH mentoring program, adopting a campus & helping the school in many ways.
ElDorado Motors- Has been a long time partner with the school district. This year they donated a new dually loaded truck to be utilized by the FFA.
Emerson Process Management – This partner has also been a long time supporter of MISD and MEF.
McKinney Buick GMC & Nissan of McKinney - Supported Project Graduation by donating a car and sponsoring the Teacher of the Year Banquet.
Medical Center of McKinney - Has continued to be a lead sponsor for the MISD New Teacher breakfast and has assisted most recently by donating some needed items for Summer School.
Pogue Construction – Participating in the REACH mentoring program and sponsoring various programs and events.
SHW Group – This group sponsored the Distinguished Students Banquet.
Raytheon - Since 2006 Raytheon has gone above and beyond their involvement with the school district, from volunteering hundreds of hours through a stainable program entitled LASER where Raytheon employees come in and work directly with students in getting them excited about math and science and learning leadership skills that will help them not only excel in school but in life.
