TownSquareBuzz, McKinney's original online news website, caught up with American Idol finalist, Hollie Cavanagh, just after she performed in front of over 5,000 screaming HolliePop fans who gathered in downtown McKinney to welcome her home. The Mayor of McKinney, Brian Loughmiller, proclaimed May 26, 2012 Hollie Cavanagh Day and presented her with a street sign, Hollie Cavanagh Way.
