In April, the McKinney Public Library invited all 6-12th grade public, private and home schooled students to participate in the library’s annual Teen Poetry Contest. Entrants could write about any subject in any style and were limited only in length, format and the bounds of their creativity.
A panel of three judges representing Collin College and the Mockingbird Poetry Society selected the winners from among approximately 75 entries.
