Through the technology of my handy FLIP video camera, I do short interviews with a different small business owners in or around McKinney.
After spending over a dozen years in the corporate world, Louisiana girl Kimberly Cotton had started her family and taken on a new business venture of her own. Now in its third year in McKinney, Kimberly’s Painting With a Twist is going strong and offers a creative outlet to many who do not know they have they creativity in them. Kimberly is such a person, although I suspect the “Twist” plays a pivotal role in her case!
If you are looking for a night out with your girlfriends, a fun party for the kids or a retreat for your office staff, check out Painting with a Twist. Even if you participate too heavily in the ‘B’ (oh yeas it’s BYOB) you will leave with evidence of a good time.

Here are some of the rules:
● Your business does not need to be an advertiser on TownSquareBuzz.com. (Although if you are reading this, you can already appreciate that TSB is the place to go to reach thousands of people like yourself who are interested in the goings-on in McKinney.)
● The objective is to be serious about small business in and around McKinney but in a fun way. If not full of personality, (fun, charming, quirky….), you will not make the cut. (Note: I stole that line from "Chopped"!)
● This personality could stem from what drove you to a particular business, what your strangest/funniest business experience has been or what we “really need to know” that we probably would not have guessed. Boring, staid, “we make widgets and want people to come buy those widgets” stories will not be featured.
● Did I mention you don’t have to pay to play? The cost of entry is simply a story the folks in McKinney would enjoy hearing.
