McKinney residents donned gloves and worked to clean up the city during the Texas Trash Off on Saturday morning, April 14.
Volunteers picked up trash in neighborhoods, parks, waterways and roadsides in all parts of the city to make McKinney a cleaner place to live and work.
The morning of work was followed by awards and lunch at Old Settler's Park. The event was sponsored by the city's Office of Environmental Stewardship.
The Texas Trash Off is the state's largest one-day cleanup event.
