Volunteer McKinney Center has announced the following opportunities this week:
Marketing Intern. Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary has an opening for an unpaid part-time marketing intern. Tasks include development and implementation of marketing strategies, analysis and update of website, development of marketing material, and administrative work. Requirements include a background in marketing, journalism, or similar field, proficiency in Microsoft Office, self-motivation, and the ability to multitask and apply complex information. Strikes Against Cancer. The 2nd Annual Strikes Against Cancer will be hosted in McKinney on May 4-6. Volunteers are needed to help with this tournament of over 200 select baseball teams by working in one of the following areas: Registration Booth, Strikes Tally Card Retrievals, Field Crews, Umpire Services, and Merchandising Booths. If you can help make this event successful, go to the VMC web site and use Keywords “Strikes Against Cancer.”
