Former all-district wide receiver and punter David Douglas visited Cowboy Stadium and worked out for Dallas Cowboys officials last Wednesday morning. NFL teams are allowed to bring in 30 prospects to work out in preparation for the NFL Draft on April 26th-28th.
Douglas, who measured in at 6-1, 205 pounds at his pro day at the University of Arizona last month, jumped into the sixth or seventh round discussions after clocking in at 4.39 in the 40-yard dash and measuring a vertical leap of 36 1/2 inches.

Last year at Arizona, Douglas caught 65 receptions for 666 yards and 4 touchdowns. If Douglas is drafted to an NFL team in less than three weeks, he will be expected not only to compete at the receiver position but contribute on special teams as well.
