Former McKinney High standout Jennifer Gilbert led Ball State with a .500 batting average last week and was named Mid-America Conference West Division Player of the Week.
Ball State coach Craig Nicholson called Gilbert, a sophomore outfielder, one of the "nation's top run-producers."
