1) Project Graduation 2012
McKinney's Project Graduation is a local non-profit organization whose mission is to execute a safe, after graduation celebration for the nearly 1,500 high school seniors who attend all McKinney schools.
Your donation and time will not only help this year's graduates, but will ensure that we can continue the Project Graduation tradition for future seniors. Please do what you can to make Project Graduation 2012 a night of memories and safety for our seniors.
Please join us for a planning meeting Monday, March 26th, at 7:00 in the MISD Board Room at 1 Duvall Street, McKinney (behind Faubion Middle School). We need parents to help in such areas as security and parking, check-in, casino games, food, asking for prize donations, etc. For more information, click HERE or contact Deana McGonagill Director, McKinney's Project Graduation.

7) Laura’s Legacy Campaign
Will Boyd counselor, Rebecca Oaxaca still have her head of silver hair after April 27th? Boyd students hope NOT! Mrs. Oaxaca has challenged the Boyd student body to raise $15,000 for Laura's Legacy by April 27th. Through coin collections, t-shirt, bracelet sales and with the help of Burks Elementary and KISS FM 106.1 the Laura's Legacy total is hovering around $9,000.
Mrs. Oaxaca thinks the Boyd Broncos of 2011-12 can "up their game". Look for future opportunities to contribute to Laura's Legacy by purchasing bracelets and Laura's Legacy nights at local restaurants. If you are interested in helping with Laura's Legacy, meetings are held every Wednesday after school in F110. Come join us...parents are welcome!
