Destination College’s annual Parent Workshop is scheduled from 6-8:30 p.m., at Collin College Thursday, Feb. 2.
“Destination College: The Parent Workshop” will provide parents with the essentials of planning and preparing for their child’s college experience. The fast-paced sessions, presented by a variety of speakers, will address practical parenting concerns, strategies for a successful college admissions process, terminology and financial aid resources.
Dinner will be provided and begins at 6 p.m. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. This workshop is for parents only.
Attendees will receive a copy of the 2012 Parent Resource Guide.
While the session is free, registration is required. Space is limited. The RSVP deadline for is noon, Thursday, Jan. 26, unless capacity is reached prior to that date.
