McKinney Boyd junior running back Bryan Driskell was named First-Team All-State in the 2011 Texas Associated Press Sports Editors Class 5A football team, released Thursday. Voting was based on regular-season performance.
Driskell ran for 2,073 yards and 28 touchdowns for the Broncos this season.
Boyd's Jamal Palmer made Honorable Mention. Driskell and Palmer were the only MISD athletes to make All State football this year.
