Uptown Sound, owned by McKinney residents Aaron & Kellie Kannowski, has been selected as one of ten Dallas area wedding vendors for TLC's new series "Randy To The Rescue."
The show, a spin-off of "Say Yes To The Dress," features Randy Fenoli traveling to eight different cities, where brides will have a chance to get advice from Randy and his team of consultants, as they help each bride find the perfect dress. Each episode features a pop-up salon concept designed and produced by The Wedding Guys.
In addition, ten Dallas area exhibitors will provide their expertise on how to create the perfect ceremony and reception. Uptown Sound will consult with brides on entertainment, DJ, and lighting services, while other vendors include a photographer, a florist, and a baker.
DJ and owner of Uptown Sound, Aaron Kannowski, commented, "We are extremely excited to be a part of such a unique opportunity, and we are very happy to see Dallas selected as one of the eight cities for the TV series. It's also a huge honor for Uptown Sound to be one of only ten companies invited."

The first event takes place at the Hilton Anatole on Sunday, December 11, 2011, and the television show is scheduled to air in the summer of 2012.
