Boyd Girls Soccer-ex Monogue Wins Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year

Kelley Monogue, a 2011 graduate of McKinney Boyd, had such a successful freshman soccer season at Texas A&M that she was named the Big 12 Rookie of the Year and Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.

But it doesn't stop there.

Monogue was also named the Big 12 Tournament Offensive Most Valuable Player and the No. 1 freshman in the country by TopDrawerSoccer.com.

The forward also received numerous weekly awards, both on the conference level and nationally and was selected to the All-Big 12 First Team, the Big 12 All-Newcomer Team and the Big 12 All-Tournament Team.
