Republican Chris Hill was the first in Collin County to file an application for a place on the ballot in the March primary, as he did so on Monday and emailed requests for support.
The Hill campaign requested help in the areas of volunteers, endorsements, yard signs, campaign contributions, and following his campaign on Facebook and Twitter.
The election is March 6.
