2) 5th Annual Crosstown Chow-Down: Chick-fil-A Athletic Scholarship Fundraiser
Purchase products from the Chick-fil-A located at Hwy 380/US 75 in McKinney from October 10 to October 14 and let the cashier know that your receipt amount goes toward MHS athletic club in the "Crosstown Chow-Down" contest. The first and second place winning school's athletic clubs will be announced during halftime at the October 14th football game.

4) Destination Imagination Meeting
You and your children are invited to learn more about Destination Imagination on Tuesday, October 11th, from 6-7pm at Malvern Elementary Library, 1100 W El Dorado Pkwy for a creative problem-solving activity and competition for children in grades K-12.

5) Bailadora Youth Mini Dance Clinic
Do you want to learn to dance like a Bailadora? You’re invited on October 15 to MBHS for a Mini Bailadora Dance Clinic!

6) Flu Shot Clinic
A flu shot clinic will be held on Monday, October 10 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon in the Lower School Nurse’s office. The cost is $14 for children and $20 for adults.

7) No School on Friday, October 14th
Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Friday, October 14th.
8) No school on Monday, October 10
Parents may schedule parent-teacher conferences on this day.
9) Dealing with Bullying
On October 11th from 6-7 at the Career and Tech Education Building, James Caldwell, FISD Student Assistance Coordinator, will provide information on useful strategies to build self-confidence and promote resilience.

Homecoming Dance: Electric Avenue
10) The LHS Homecoming Dance is scheduled for October 15th from 7-10pm.
