The McKinney North Bulldogs ran into a buzzsaw in the form of the state's top-ranked Highland Park squad this week.
The homestanding Scots defeated the Bulldogs by a score of 18-1. There were many tough matches played, but the Bulldogs were only able to pull out one victory. The loss drops the Bulldogs to 14-1 on the year and into 2nd place in district 10-4A at 4-1.
Match of the night goes to super Freshman Camila Wesbrooks as she destroyed HP’s #1 girls singles player by a score of 6-2, 6-1.
The Bulldogs are next in action Friday at home versus No. 25 5A Plano East.
