At 9:42 tonight the Dallas Mavericks became the NBA World Champions. By 10 PM Academy Sports + Outdoors in McKinney had opened its doors and began welcoming fans wanting to purchase their own championship t-shirts and hats.
Hundreds of fans descended on the store and by 10:30 the McKinney retailer already ran out of hats, kid's shirts and adult mediums. Management reassured the crowd there will be a new delivery tomorrow!
