Alec Overn, a senior at McKinney Christian Academy, had her jersey retired at the Junior Varsity and Varsity Athletic Award Night on Monday May 16th.

She is the state record holder in the pole vault at both the 2A and 3A level. She has also had numerous other accomplishments in track and field throughout her career which includes being a two time state champion in the 100 meter, 3rd place finishes in the long jump and triple jump, and running a leg on the 4x100 relay that placed 2nd and 3rd.

In honor of her athletic achievements, MCA will be retiring her jersey. Alec is truly a gifted track and field athlete and has represented MCA well for the past four years.
